He spent two years at the center of the team than made BP the leading KM Company in the world, acting as the team Knowledge Manager, developing and implementing BP's knowledge of "how to manage knowledge", and coordinating the BP KM community of practice. Prior to this role he had worked for 5 years as Knowledge Manager for BP Norway.
Nick has since been instrumental in developing and delivering KM strategies, KM frameworks and KM implementation programs in a wide range of different organizations, including De Beers and the BBC, as well as major clients in the mining, project management, manufacturing and energy sectors.
He has a particular interest in capturing and collating knowledge, and lesson learning. Nick has managed major knowledge capture programs, particularly in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
Nick holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Wales.
